• Keep the noise down near homes, especially early and late.
• Take your rubbish with you. Leave every spot better than you found it.
• Don't damage property. Wax is fine, broken benches and gouged ledges are not.
• If security or an owner asks you to leave, leave. A spot that gets shut down is lost for everyone.

Mark a spot as secret when it only stays open if it stays quiet. Signed-out visitors then see only the rough area.

• Don't post a secret spot's exact location anywhere else on Skate On, like in a comment or event.
• Don't add a spot as public if the people who look after it asked to keep it quiet.

Only add spots that riders can reach without breaking in. Don't post tips for getting past fences, locks, guards or "no entry" signs. Spots on private property need to be places where riding is allowed.

• Only post photos you took or have permission to use.
• Show the spot, not strangers. Don't post photos where people who didn't agree can be recognised, and never post photos of children who aren't yours.
• Nothing explicit, violent or hateful.

Hype each other up. No harassment, threats, hate speech, personal attacks or spam in notes, comments, reviews or suggestions. Don't share anyone's personal details.

• Anything that breaks these guidelines.
• Fake or duplicate spots and events, and events that are really adverts.
• Content that puts people or spots at risk.

Riders who keep breaking the guidelines can be warned or suspended.

Tap "Report" on a spot, event, photo, note, review or rider and choose a reason. When three riders report the same thing, it's hidden until our team has looked at it. Our team reviews every report and can dismiss it, hide the content or delete a comment, or warn or suspend the rider. The person who posted hidden content can still see it, with a note that moderators hid it.
